“The first time I came to Jerry’s, I was overwhelmed to find a place of such peace and tranquility. The doors were open onto the patio and many kinds of birds landed in the garden during the hour or so I spent there. The atmosphere was utterly restful, almost contemplative.”

Jerry’s the Color King and his salon is the most serene experience, sit back, relax and watch the birds. It’s like a mini vacation with good conversation. Formerly Jerry’s Underground -Jerry has always been a star!

At Jerry’s you get individualized treatment. This includes a haircut to fit the person, a natural color treatment using non-toxic, environmentally safe products by CHI, and this is all done in a haven for plant life, wildlife and humans escaping a rugged life in the city. Beautiful!

This is not hyperbole. This place is an urban oasis. I have never had better haircuts.

I first started going to Jerry’s Underground in 2005 and haven’t looked back! He uses environmentally friendly products, which is a nice compliment to the trees, shrubs and wildlife outside on the patio. He’s very good with color and highlights (again no harsh chemicals), and really listens to what you want in a cut and color. It’s been such a relief to get out of those catty salons and into a friendly neighborhood setting. Highly recommended!
